About the Artist
My name is Katie Kelleher and I live in Granby, Connecticut with my 2 dogs, 2 horses, and a bunny. I've been working on making a small home studio, but I am also a proud member of Expressions Pottery Studio in East Granby, CT. I have had a passion for pottery since high school where I learned hand building techniques and organized an Empty Bowls fundraiser for our local food bank with two of my classmates our senior year. In college I was unable to pursue pottery, but it was greatly missed as one of my favorite creative outlets. After graduation, I was fortunate enough to find Expressions Studio and take a few classes there before becoming a member. There I was able to learn wheel throwing which has added tremendously to my repertoire. Expressions has a great little community where I am always learning and meeting new people!
